At United Way Worldwide, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are core to who we are and what we do.

United Way’s mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities to advance the common good. In order to fulfill that mission, it is critical that our leadership and staff reflect the diversity of the many different communities we serve around the world, that we are intentional about including groups that have been historically excluded in co-creating solutions to community challenges, and that we apply an equity lens to everything we do, in order to ensure that every person in every community has access to the opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
