Farmers Insurance has partnered with United Way and local communities for over 25 years. Farmers employees have volunteered thousands of hours in the community and created on-ramps for employee engagement through school supply drives, special events and other skills-based volunteer projects.
In Los Angeles, where they are headquartered, Farmers employees have volunteered over 200 hours and contributed over $3 million dollars in employee contributions and corporate support. In Grand Rapids, Farmers employees have volunteered more than 500 hours during events such as a “Stuff the Bus” drive for school supplies and Day of Caring, as well as given over $5 million dollars. Farmers is also actively involved in United Way’s education work, serving the larger community through their expertise, volunteerism and financial contributions.
