United Way Centraide’s long history of supporting communities across Canada dates back to 1917. Today, 71 local United Way Centraide offices support more than 5,000 communities across Canada every year, helping to improve lives from coast to coast to coast. The name of our national office – United Way Centraide Canada – reflects the bilingual nature of our country’s culture and language.
