United Way Guatemala was founded in 2001 to promote the development of people and communities throughout Guatemala. The organization relies on the volunteer cooperation of individuals and companies to achieve our goals. Fondo Unido believes self-sustaining communities begin with healthy, educated children and focuses its outreach efforts on Guatemalans under the age of 18.
We are a highly dynamic, results-oriented organization with the responsibility of impacting communities and people to develop self-sustainability. We rely on the economic and human collaboration of private companies and their employees to achieve our goals.
